14th Buxton (Burbage) Beavers recently stepped back in time to discover the craft of traditional rope-making! After a short demonstration, the colony rolled up their sleeves, donned the all important hats, and got hands-on making their own lengths of brightly coloured rope.
To wrap up the evening, the Beavers combined their skills and teamwork to create something truly special: an extra long rope matching the exact colours of their group neckerchief. The hope is that a use can now be found for this unique rope which will allow it to be used by the group for many years to come!
