JOTA-JOTI is an annual event that allows Scouters from around the world to meet each other over airwaves and online. JOTA (rhyming with ‘rota’) stands for Jamboree On The Air, whilst JOTI (rhyming with ‘floaty’) stands for Jamboree On The Internet. This year, the event takes place from Friday 16th October till Sunday 18th October and the theme is ‘a peaceful and inclusive world’.

To celebrate this great event, we’re hosting our very own JOTA-JOTI station at 1st Chapel-en-le-Frith Scout HQ on Saturday 17th October, where everyone is invited to join in the fun. There’ll be a session for each section, which can be booked by completing the form below. To make sure those attending can make the most of the day, there’s a maximum of 25 places per session. If you’re not able to book onto a session, you can join JOTI from home via the JOTA-JOTI website.

To cover the cost of equipment and activities, there is a charge of £3 per participant. We will ask you for payment via Online Scout Manager after you have signed up.

We will have leaders in attendance to meet the Scouting supervision ratios therefore parents need not stay however please do be prompt for pickup at the end of your allotted session time so that we’re able to get ready for the next group. There is a cafe nearby if you want to nip off for a quiet brew.

To register, you will need to use the link and passcode provided by your leader.
