Squirrels and Beavers from across the High Peak were invited to an activity day organised by Barry the Beaver. But not all goes to plan, Barry has been kidnapped and the Squirrels and Beavers must complete the activities to earn the ransom to get Barry back!
Over 70 of our smallest Scouters faced activities such as: archery, fire lighting, shelter building, mini golf, caving, pop bottle rockets, morse code, and the most difficult of all; the bouncy castle! Teamwork, persistance, and dedication shone through as the Squirrels and Beavers were able to win the ransom and get Barry back. After a tiring day, the kidnappers rewarded everyone with a fire, camp songs, and s’mores.
