Buxton Carnival 2025 saw 1st Buxton (Silverlands) and 3rd Buxton (Harpur Hill) enter truly amazing floats; with 1st Buxton delving into Vikings, whilst 3rd Buxton chose to look at the theme of adventure. Both groups powered on through the heat and represented themselves wonderfully!
1st Buxton’s Vikings wowed the crowd with terrifying costumes and props, with a beating drum driving them through the procession. Their brand new minibus ‘Suzi Sue’ followed behind, showing off her new signage.
A true group effort from 3rd Buxton, with Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts coming together to pull off a fantastic float. Armed with water pistols and bubbles, the group took on the streets of Buxton
A massive thank you and well done goes to all the volunteers who gave up their time to bring the floats together and give the young people an unforgettable experience. Here’s to next year!
